ISFA and VFLN Sign Strategic MoU to Strengthen Franchise and MSME Ecosystem Across India and Vietnam
Delhi, India [20th May’25] — The Indian Small Business & Franchise Association (ISFA) and the Vietnam Franchising & Licensing Network (VFLN) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote and enhance franchise opportunities and support the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across both countries.
This landmark agreement aims to establish a collaborative framework between ISFA and VFLN to foster cross-border business development, capacity building, and entrepreneurial innovation through franchise-led growth. The MoU was signed by Mr. Gaurav Marya, Chairman of ISFA, and Mdm. Nguyen Phi Van, Chairwoman of VFLN.
Key Objectives of the MoU Include:
Franchise Development: Joint initiatives to create awareness and promote franchise opportunities suitable for MSMEs.
Training & Capacity Building: Co-designed training programs to upskill MSME owners and franchise aspirants.
Networking Opportunities: Creation of collaborative platforms for knowledge exchange and business matchmaking.
Resource Sharing: Exchange of market insights, sector-specific reports, and best practices to fuel sustainable MSME development.
Joint Events: Organization of seminars, webinars, and conferences to promote mutual business interests.
Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Gaurav Marya, Chairman of ISFA, said, “This collaboration with VFLN marks a significant step in building global bridges for Indian MSMEs. It reflects our commitment to creating a thriving ecosystem for franchising and entrepreneurship.”

The MoU outlines mutual roles and responsibilities, including speaker representation at events, coordinated marketing efforts, and the sharing of industry profiles and economic data. Importantly, the agreement carries no financial obligations and respects the intellectual property of both organizations.
